Medical English in Brighton Helping doctors, nurses and medical students to succeed This intensive, highly structured 4 week programme provides doctors, nurses and medical students with the skills and confidence to provide effective medical care to patients and to deal with other medical professionals in English. Developing terminology   The course builds core knowledge in medical terminology using authentic case studies which explore patient conditions and situations. We develop the participants' vocabulary, skills and knowledge in a wide range of medical areas including anatomy, symptoms, diseases, investigations, treatment and prevention. Tailored Progress   Plenaries and workshops give students the opportunity to explore wider topics and issues to improve their confidence in spoken English. Teachers use the weekly 1:1 coaching session to identify individual's strengths and weaknesses. This ensures that students improve their English skills at a faster pace for the duration of their studies on this intensive medical English course.
